I don’t like talking about myself, but here it goes:

My name is Kristina, and I’m a content manager in real life. I have two daughters and a wonderful husband, and together we live in the most beautiful house in the world.

This blog started as a passion project, a space for me to ramble on about my latest reads, bookish opinions, and writing. Oh, yes, I also write. None of it is published (or finished), but I’m still finding myself as a writer, and hope to one day publish my stories.

The name of this site (Bookish Delights) came from one of my favorite books as a child, The Chronicles of Narnia (you know, Turkish Delights).

I’ll pretty much read anything, but my favorite genres are literary fiction, romance and sometimes fantasy.

First of all, don't make the same mistake I did and read this before bed because you will be thinking about it all night. Second of all, I need a physical copy because I want to hug it and treasure it and read it over and over again. I’ll be honest here — I’ve never liked Ali Hazelwood’s books. The woman herself seems amazing, which is why I wanted to love her work so much, yet it never happened for me. And I tried so hard. Right from the start, Penance is a captivating read. Eliza Clark tends to choose extremely unreliable, abhorrent narrators who are oh-so-entertaining to follow. Alec Carelli is no different. Though critical of the true-crime industrial complex, he’s also not ashamed to use his own daughter’s suicide or Joan’s murder to get what he wants. If you're in a mood for some swoony, charming romance, here are some of the best love stories ever — from various genres and with varying degrees of spice too 🥰 do yourself a favor and read them all (and then come back to gush with me about them) 💫 I’m always attracted to books about writers, especially if they’re romance books. Aside from the fact that writers falling in love is often utterly charming, it’s also fascinating to see how they work and view their creative process. This book caught my attention purely thanks to its lovely cover. I mean, just look at it — granted, it looks better in hardback, with gold foil and all the pizazz but I love it all the same in paperback. Yet what I loved even more is the story itself.
