Book Review: Secrets of the Void by Emma Hamm
Or: how one of my favorite series went downhill.

Or: how one of my favorite series went downhill.

Dark side Legally Blonde.

Another disappointing, overly spicy romantasy.

And we're back!

I was rooting for this book, we were all rooting for this book... alas, it failed (and not even spectacularly).

Is this a new favorite fantasy series? Yes, yes it is.

In which I return to Orc (or, well, half-orc) romance with whatever is the opposite of a bang (a plop?)

Disclaimer: I received a free ARC in exchange for an honest review. Thanks to the author, the publisher and NetGalley. This review will contain no spoilers. Let me just say this right off the bat: The Irresistible Urge to Fallβ¦

The Book of Azrael is certainly unique and it was interesting at the beginning, but then it started dragging.

I didn't think I'd enjoy Phantasma as much as I did, yet here we are. It's like Caraval if you wanted it to be spicier and darker.
